Total trust in our GP Doctor David Meakin. No problems in getting an appointment. Easy to order prescriptions online, backed up by an excellent chemist at Paydens and a first class pharmacist in Anna.

Went for my Flu jab on Saturday. It was so quick and efficient I couldn't have asked for anything more.
All the reception staff and nurses were very friendly and cheerful which, considering that were working on a Saturday, was wonderful

My family has been with Westgate Bay Avenue Surgery since 1955.
In the one sense, I cannot compare it with any other surgery, because I have known no other. This does not detract from the fact that this surgery is extremely good.
I cannot think of anything more that they can do to improve (apart from opening a Coffee Shop?) Just joking.

The staff are always willing to provide a friendly and efficient service, often working under pressure. My appointments and waiting times are always satisfactory, and I have never felt the need to complain. The surgery is kept clean and tidy. I am finding it difficult to find anything negative about the surgery, or its staff. I feel lucky to have such a great service within my community.

I suffer from irregular heart beat, under active thyroid, High blood pressure , high level of cholesterol and degenerative osteoarthritis, all of which is currently controlled by medication. I have had a number of blood tests and one ECG but have never been told what the results were. It appears the assumption is: if one is not informed then all is OK. Please may some procedure be available to keep one informed of the outcome of these tests. I have not yet seen a cardiologist in respect of my heart condition. Is this normal. I have recently returned from living in Spain for ten years where my current medical condition was first diagnosed. Whilst under local and national health care my condition was monitored on six monthly review and was extended to yearly revision once my condition was stabilised. Will my condition be reviewed on a similar frequency in future
